Top 10: Dystopian films

This is my bread and butter. There’s something about this concept that engages me like no other genre. My definition of a dystopia would be a future (however near or distant) where the tendencies we have today have become an oppressive force on humanity.

It’s at once a warning, and an analysis of our destructive patterns in the present.
