TOP TEN FILMS OF 2016

When I look back at what an awful year 2016 was, I’ll also have to admit it was a blissful and diverse year for film. The patterns I see in my list: strong female leads, coming-of-age stories, unconventional families, honest portrayals of mental illness and Isabelle Huppert.
