UNSETTLING BEAUTY

Sometimes, it is the shape of her face. Or the way she moves her body. It can, at times, be just her attitude. Often, it is her stillness, a lack of expression, so that her face appears like a mask. There can be an excess of some quality – she is too beautiful, too sweet, too calm, too cold. Or is it an absence? She can seem not of this world or all too real. When you gaze upon her, you may feel a little bit afraid.

But one thing is clear. The camera adores her.
