wet movies, movies about water, movies that really understand water’s emotional significance. the last one is harder than it sounds but there are a few directors who do it really well (especially kawase & tarkovsky)

for a guy who’s not actually that great of a swimmer, i have a lot of feelings about this sort of thing.
