Documentaries can reveal new perspectives, fascinating people, or unexpected places and situations to us. The world is an interesting place, so through MUBI I have discovered some of the best documentaries I have ever seen. This is a list of documentaries that I have collected – many have been shown on MUBI, many not yet. Some are fantastic, others boring or technically flawed. Still, the commitment by MUBI to present a diversity of documentaries is one of their strongest points and a major reason why I subscribe.
