Synopsis

A teenager rallies his classmates into rebellion and shoots a teacher. Panic in High School is a violent attack at Japan’s educational system. Sogo Ishii’s early shorts were acts of punk-spirited rebellion, echoing the do-it-yourself attitude of the movement.

this short film is a state of being. it succeeds so well in generating the atmosphere the main character is surrounded of. that the story line becomes almost a joke as absurd as its main plot points.
