“I was taking drama classes in high school, and I would do these really serious monologues (or at least I thought they were). Then everyone would be laughing at me, and I would be like, ‘What the hell? You’re supposed to be crying.’ I think I’m kind of clownish, so it was sort of a natural progression.”
