The movies that came into my life when I was particularly impressionable—mainly ages 3 to 14. The selection here is largely a product of growing up in a middle-class American household during the 1990s. I lived primarily with a single mom, so I saw my fair share of romantic comedies and movies starring leading men whose company on-screen my mom enjoyed.
