Eschewing show business, for the time being, perennially stranded showgirl Maisie Revere (Ann Sothern) decides to join the LA police force. She goes undercover to infiltrate a gang of tricksters but is found out and taken for a one-way ride by the crooks. Now, her partner has to find her!
