After John Haloran dies, his wife Louise realizes she won’t inherit anything once Lady Haloran passes. To secure her share, she fakes a letter from John, claiming he’s away on business, and travels to the family estate in Ireland. Her plan to ingratiate herself into the family quick unravels.
