  1. Max Seqgar's rating of the film It Is Not the Homosexual Who Is Perverse, But the Society in Which He Lives

The most striking thing about this film (aside from the FABbulous fashion) is that 45 years after, toilets still remain a core point of socio-sexual interaction for gay men world wide.

  2. Dimpfelmoser66's rating of the film It Is Not the Homosexual Who Is Perverse, But the Society in Which He Lives

I don't get this. Is it supposed to be funny or is it just awkward incompetence. If you are not gay, this is bound to bore you to death, but if you are gay, do you really want Rosa von Praunheim prattle on for over an hour about how fucked up gays are. I guess, if you see this at a public screening it's good laughs all around, wheres my main reaction was a deep gratefulness that the Seventies have long gone past.

  3. José Neves's rating of the film It Is Not the Homosexual Who Is Perverse, But the Society in Which He Lives

Perhaps the best Praunheim film and if its visual side has acquired a value of a historical record of a time - almost archaeological -, its ideological side is a performance of a timeless ideology - since the past always crave to return. The film gained an unusual perspective for the present as a document of contemporary action - the political art seek a discourse that in 71 had already found its formulation.

  4. mad.lucas's rating of the film It Is Not the Homosexual Who Is Perverse, But the Society in Which He Lives

★★★★★ Every gay man in the whole world should watch this.

  5. Rafael Zen's rating of the film It Is Not the Homosexual Who Is Perverse, But the Society in Which He Lives

WOW this is sick. Do not watch it with your loved one - if you are a gay guy. Really, do not. Praunheim teaches sarcastic cinema realness - words, screen, design- everything is brilliant.

  6. Ultra Kebab's rating of the film It Is Not the Homosexual Who Is Perverse, But the Society in Which He Lives

    great manifesto, weak movie.
