(6.100th wut?) The battle of the marshes (those reeds!), looked staged by Kurosawa, Renoir, Mizoguchi or/and with some strokes of later Tarkovsky. These guys were geniuses and way way way way before their time, now they're sung as some of Britain's best in film -> number one reason why I despise film critics: nothing above them is any good, until they chose to. Peckinpah was right all along.
