“[On auditioning for Narcos] I didn’t have a lot of information so I made up my own kind of backstory with how I lived in Colombia in the ’90s. I just tried to be real. I tried to be as truthful as I could. Usually for auditions, I read as much as I can or do research on the subject of the story. In this case, I didn’t have to. I knew everything about it. It was something I had lived.”
