“The way I break it down is, movies is a director’s medium, television is kind of the writer/producer/creator medium, and actors can really test their mettle in the theatre, because it’s like the decathlon for actors. The film can be a decathlon too, but one day you do the javelin, and the next day you do the shot-put. But in the theatre experience, you’re doing that decathlon every night, and it just gets you in shape and just gets your blood pumping.”
