Prior to his unnerving turn in Lurker, rising star Théodore Pellerin sashayed his way through romance and heartache in Sophie Dupuis’s passionate character study. Basking in the DIY splendor of Montreal’s drag scene, Solo captures the joy and the peril of gender performance, both on and offstage.
