Reiulf’s dream has always been to have his own herd of reindeer. But as a dáčča, a Norwegian he is banned from this traditional profession. By chance his wife, who is sami, is given the opportunity to assume ownership of a siida-unit (a reindeer unit) on Kvaløya island, outside Tromsø.
