From director Nadav Lapid (Policeman) comes this tense Israeli drama about a preternaturally gifted child-poet. Remade in the U.S with Maggie Gyllenhaal, The Kindergarten Teacher unearths a nation’s guilt and a child’s innocence and is filmmaking at its most politically and dramatically invigorated.
