Based on the Nick Hornby novel Funny Girl (adapted by Morwenna Banks), and directed by Oliver Parker, a six episode series starring Gemma Arterton (who also executive produces) as Barbara Parker, a beauty queen trying to make it in the world of TV comedy in 1960’s London.
