Both the sensuous, sun-drenched joys of summer and the sensual pleasures of one’s first love make The Summer of Sangaile a beautifully haptic work, carried by the flowing music of Air’s J.B. Dunckel. Its graceful representation of intimacy and passion bestowed it the Best Director award in Sundance!
