Prachtige, interessante, ongelofelijke films.
THE BLACK POWER MIXTAPE 1967-1975
Synopsis
In the late 1960s and early ‘70s, Swedish TV journalists, fueled by curiosity and naïveté, traversed the ocean to film the Black Power movement in America. The images and interviews they collected have been assembled into a collage with both music and narration to chronicle the movement’s evolution.

Onze Kijk
Later finished by a new generation of filmmakers after a goldmine of footage was discovered from this turbulent time in American race relations, The Black Power Mixtape is a revelatory portrait of what should have been but a moment in history, yet this period has sadly not yet passed. Essential.
