MUBI for iPad!

Announcing our new iPad app!

MUBI has big news today! We're excited and proud to announce the launch of our new iPad app*!

Bringing a new level of convenience and functionality to our unique curated streaming service, we have been hard at work developing something that makes accessing great movies every day even easier. Optimized for your viewing pleasure, our app is simple and (we hate to brag, but...) gorgeous. With an intuitive and interactive design you can smoothy explore our continuously changing lineup of 30 films hand-picked by MUBI for you to watch, discover, and share.  Every day we add a great new film for you to watch, and each film is available on the platform for 30 days.

With the new iPad app you can stream our films online, play them on your HDTV via AirPlay, or download them to your iPad to take it offline and watch movies on the go. Head to the app store and take it for a spin today: we're even throwing in a free trial for new users!

*MUBI's new application is available to audiences in the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, Turkey, Norway, France, and Germany.

I find really disappointing that MUBI has dedicated their efforts on a mobile device instead of developing an app for streaming through more accessible media players. Buhh, still a wannabe subscriber until having a way for wartching MUBI on my TV set.
@ramestica – You can use an iPad connected via AirPlay or cable to watch MUBI on your TV. You can use a PS3 to watch MUBI on your TV. You can connect your TV to your computer and use it as an external monitor. iPad covers a huge portion of the mobile tablet market and thus will make portable viewing accessible to a lot of people. Watching on a mobile device is also part of the original concept behind the company itself. In all fairness, spending time on developing mobile accessibility is vastly justified, in an era of extensive mobile devices and demand from customers for compatible platforms and applications for services – not least video streaming.
Will it be available to other countries, like Portugal? When? The iPad app is an wonderfull idea.
Is this exclusive for ipad users only? How about samsung users?
Will be available the App for Spain?
…or for Mexico, maybe? XD
How about making Mubi available for offline use on all devises? I think a lot of users who watch films often live in rural areas where internet coverage can slip.. Its great that its available as an app – would be so good if that could be extended to other users.
