Spurred by the wishes of his late, beloved wife and inspired by the adventures of his childhood hero, octogenarian Carl Fredricksen uses a bundle of balloons to fly his house to the amazon of Paradise Falls. Just as things are looking Up he discovers the overly optimistic boy scout stowaway.
