“So what I’ve been trying to pursue with the Henry character [in Reign] is make him not necessarily a great leader, because he already is one, but a fallible human being. I want people out there who are watching, whether they are 14 or 54, to see a human being up there on the screen and not just someone who’s trying to destroy other nations or countries in order to make himself more powerful.”
