Exploitation Cinema is a vast genre encompassing many sub-genre’s within it. I will attempt to break the cannon down by sub-genre

Martial Arts

An action genre typified with violent martial arts combat. Largely based in Hong Kong but Japan and Taiwan have produced some noteworthy films as well. The Street Fighter films with Sonny Chiba are much closer to Exploitation than the films of the Shaw Brothers but they will be included none the less.
