quirky, surreal, delusional, mind-bending...

this is my humble list of “psyche-stimulating” films. it’s wide-ranging, hectic and not meant to focus on “weird” movies only. it embraces themes like “time paradox” (Time Crimes, Triangle, Dark) and delusion (Dead Man’s Shoes, The Machinist). there’s a bit of avant-garde as well as playful bizarreness (Pink Flamingos, Italian Spiderman). i’ve included also films with twisted plots (Old Boy, Fish Story), short films and animations.
