Underrated, Underwatched, and Largely Downtrodden

In alphabetical order.

This list could just as easily been titled “Postmodern Pulp.” A good chunk these are films that I watched growing up (I was born in ’88) with the luxury of not knowing that they were only considered so-so, if not crap, by the majority the American moviegoing public and/or the trades. Some of these were perhaps written off because the leading star or filmmaker were out of favor at the time of release. A lot of these come from directors whom I admire but feel that these particular works get overlooked.

I hope to expand on this list if time allows me to.
